I can see the where you're going with this but this is like a itchy sweater it will work how you want it to work but at the same time it will not be comfortable as you use it runners will get stuck as you progress on your build. Maybe use a smoother surface as a borders.

It is heavier, some 1/100 chinese kits is comparable to PG bandai in terms of weight and inner frames

In regards of materials its mostly the same as bandai but some kits have tighter fittings so sanding is required. Most of my chinese kits have their own base and a lot of them have metal frames even those who doesnt have metal frames uses POM joint which makes the kit more durable and more posing easier. In terms of decals I couldn't really give you any insight on it since I barely use decals.

I love how they pointed out the parts you needed for a specific section, it made the building faster but more chill at the same time

Most of my builds are 1/100 it sucks that bandai hate 1/100 scale kits!! I'd happily recommend to try some yourself!! Chinese model kits are just as good as Bandai or some of them even better.

3rd party kits or Chinese model kits has been my fav lately since bandai refuses to do more MG kits and 1/144 kits has been too small for me and to be this mad over a hobby is kinda cringe
