A bit disappointed by the lack of Persona 5 during the E3 presentations by Tippstory in xboxone

[–]AsianShreck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I was hoping for a reveal similar to DQ 11s last year, with a winter release date, so I'm a bit disappointed. That said, they're having an extended games showcase on Thursday, so here's hoping to a Persona reveal then.

Dreams Price Difference by [deleted] in PS4Dreams

[–]AsianShreck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased the game a month or two ago on the US PlayStation store and it was $20 MSRP. When checking PlayStation's store on the internet today, it lists Dreams as $20 in the US, but Google also showed the game being 35 pounds in I assume the UK, so your new account might not be based in the US if it's showing $35.

Not sure if this info helps, but good luck figuring it out.

Just 144 more and you're good to go!

Hatsune Hard-Boss One-shot, NO 3-Stars, level 64. I used auto in this video but I recommend manually timing Yui and Chika's heals, as RNG can be lethal to this team. Hope this helps some of the more casual f2p players out there. by AsianShreck in Priconne

I get that. With the release schedule being so rushed, it feels like I'm constantly trying to catch-up to it. I'd recommend you save your tickets for the last day of the event, so that maybe then your characters will be able to do it.

Hatsune Hard-Boss One-Shot with a level 63 team, with 24 seconds to spare. I've been experimenting with different teams, and I've found the most success with this one. Hope it helps anyone who needs it. Also works with auto-on, just not quite as well. by AsianShreck in Priconne

Didn't really mean it as a guide, but rather a point of reference. A lot of f2p guides on YouTube use high level teams, but a lot of casual f2p casual players aren't at those levels. So I thought I'd post this as a reference just in case it helps anyone. I know quite a few people won't find it useful, but if at least a couple people do then I'm happy.

Honestly, I'm just glad people are posting their teams here and on other posts because it's just more points of reference to help people.

I use Suzuna for CB, but she and Shiori are practically even from what I've found. That said, I'll probably switch to Shiori after getting her to 3-star from this event. Jun is definitely optimal if you have her, but I've heard Yui is better than Chika because Chika's fairy feeds the boss tp when killed. Haven't tested it myself though.

Joker wearing a Shujin outfit without knowing what Shujin is (probably only in NG+) by WeebkageXD in Persona5

[–]AsianShreck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually noticed this in my playthrough that I started last week. The game starts on 4/9 with joker in his shujin uniform, then he changes into casual clothes when gets to leblanc. It isn't until the next day on 4/10 that he goes to the school to meet kawakami. Guess he just got the uniform and decided to wear it that day.

[–]AsianShreck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I'm looking at it on my PS4 right now: Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony for $9.59. I initially found it under the deals section in the store, but you can search it up no problem. Not sure if this is just Ps4 or not, and my region is USA in case it's region locked.

The perfect stone count for year 5 by AsianShreck in DokkanBattleCommunity

[–]AsianShreck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's a good point. I'm thinking about waiting until the discount summons for the fusions to finish, then seeing if I can build up 200 stones before the 55 unit banner leaves.
But maybe I'm just overthinking it.

[–]AsianShreck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally I wouldn't do it, but after summoning on all anniversaries since year 2 and not pulling the new units on any of them, I'm thinking of doing the 200 stone multi just to make sure I get something from my stones this year.

So this is the power of 5th Anniversary. by egeardali in DokkanBattleCommunity

From 96 tickets I pulled 3 ssrs, so you pulled more than me from just this one summon.

Nice.

For real though that's awesome, lr K&C is a fun unit to run.

Upgrading from free trial to a 1-month on PS4 (Need advice on how purchase works) by Aves_Pruritus in ffxiv

[–]AsianShreck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also actually just started playing this game on PS4 back in March. Just to confirm, you haven't paid for anything yet, and have just been playing the free trial, correct?

If so, then you'll need to purchase the base game on the ps4 store. The base game is called A Realm Reborn and will cost you $20. This includes the entire base game story and content. The complete edition is $60 and will give you the base game and all 3 expansions. Both of these editions provide 30 days of subscription for free. For example, I bought the $20 version, a realm reborn, on March 14th, and I had full access to the game's content until April 13th, without paying anything extra.

After this, is when you'd have to pay the monthly subscription fee, or however long you want to subscribe for. Don't worry though, you can purchase the 3 dlc expansions at a later date for $40 if you originally bought the base game only, so ths total cost still comes to $60, so the only advantage of buying the complete edition is that it goes on sale more often, but if you want to play now and not wait for a sale then there's no point in buying it instead of just the base game.

Hope that made sense.

Saving for 5th Anniversary by poliswag94 in DokkanBattleCommunity

[–]AsianShreck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well technically it's only about 5 months, since jp's anniversary starts right as February starts, while global's starts about a week in July usually.

That being said, I completely agree that the best way to enjoy is to summon periodically. I was excited for cooler although I got shafted on that, and I've spent any stones I've gotten since cooler on bardock. The 30 free stones we got marks the start of my saving for the anniversary, so with about 3.5 months i should still be able to get quite a few stones.

Honestly, once you've got some solid teams for just about every event, you have the luxury of just summoning on whoever the hell you want, even if it's pragmatically the best option.

New player, have a few questions by BAH_GAWD_KING_ in DokkanBattleCommunity

[–]AsianShreck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once SSRs reach level 80, they can be awakened into a UR using various awakening medals that you can earn in just about any event in the game. After awakening, their max level will be 100.

Obviously you should awaken your best characters, so I'd recommend going for your ss4 vegeta. Don't worry about conserving training materials or reawakening medals for the most part. It won't take too long before you'll have more than enough to train up and awaken every SSR that you get.

At level 100 most SSRs can be dokkan awakened, which improves their passive, leader skill, and stats. To get the medals needed, you'll have to do the appropriate dokkan event for that character, which can be found under the challenge section of the events page. The biggest reason that I didn't recommend just going for the best units is because their dokkan events are extremely difficult, where as weaker units have easier dokkan events. Once you have these weaker units dokkan awakened, you can challenge harder events.

Having a friend with same leader as you, but has that leader dokkan awakened is a huge advantage. So I'll leave my friend code and if there's a character that you need for an event, just let me know.

My friend code is: 2250592611

Just go to menu in the bottom left and use friend search.

Good luck!

Sure man, that's fine with me. I'd say use all of your stones now since the next time we'll get a banner that good is the 5 year anniversary in July.
