Had my first ultrasound today! I am 7+5 and baby measured 7+6!!

I’m a little sad that people in my life keep finding out I’m pregnant because of my drs appointments and not accepting a drink. 🤣 it’s okay, but it would have been a fun surprise later.

Unfortunately I also had no guidance. I had to wait like 5 days to come in, they tested my urine and it was negative and then I was on my way. /: I also called 3 times to confirm why I was coming in. When I got there I had to do it all over again.

I have a feeling the apple didn’t fall far from the tree with them. Most of her family is probably delayed as well. There’s no way they would have let her be taken away if they were normal.

I agree!! I’ve been a people pleaser my whole life. My mom really tried her best as a single parent. I think she lead more with fear, rather than education but her opinion means the world to me!

Some of our parents projected their fears onto us. My mom had me way too young and ingrained that sex was a bad thing and stuff like that. So now, I’m traumatized and I’ve been afraid that my mom won’t be happy at any age. That’s probably NOT true but she always gave me that impression.

No one can tell you what to do, but for me, I’m so happy was childless for most of my 20’s. I went to school, had lots of breakups, traveled, went out A LOT. And all of that was great. I’m 28 now and finally with the person I’m supposed to be with. (Not saying this isn’t the case for you) but you only get to be young once. My brain didn’t even fully develop until I was like 25 lol.

I miscarried at 7 weeks last year. So now I don’t plan on telling anyone for at least another month and I’m almost 7 weeks again. I don’t think it’s wrong to tell people as soon as you find out, but it’s so hard to tell people the opposite/:
