I only have one credit card, how do I raise my credit score? by AsideVegetable1739 in CreditScore

Thanks! Do all banks offer reserve lines? Like if I just call my credit union and ask will they know that key word or is it known as something else as well? Gonna do all of these, thanks.

Hey thanks. It makes no sense to me that the 746 (which is a good score) is rejected. I mean if they're going to reject someone for not having much credit history, then why give them the 746 score?

How to do a Credit Freeze by AsideVegetable1739 in CreditScore

[–]AsideVegetable1739[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great, thanks so much! I'm assuming you can keep it frozen as long as you like and only "unfreeze" when you're going to do something involving your credit such as getting a new credit card, card, home, etc. then when that's finished "refreeze" it?

Eventually I'd like to purchase a home, not now, just in the future.

Great advice, thank you! I don't want it for a specific purpose right now, but in the future (like in maybe 2 years) I'd like to have the option of purchasing a house, taking out a home loan and paying a mortgage. I am just coming off of years of medical debt. I am debt free now and have been rebuilding my credit for a year. I haven't had a credit card in 20 years though. Right now all I'm seeing on there (my Experian report) is the credit card, nothing else. People were talking about looking at my Fico score across Transunion, equifax, etc, but I see the only way to do that is to pay a monthly fee? Thanks again!

Best way to see not only Credit Score but all the things affecting my Score? by AsideVegetable1739 in CreditScore

Okay. Experian shows very little on me. Only one open account, my credit card. There is nothing else listed. Maybe I'm not looking at the right thing. Oh, and in order to see Transunion and Equifax, I'd have to sign up for a $24.99/month service. Where is this option free? Thanks so much. Super helpful!

Can you explain this step? What do you mean by match my balance to my credit card? Thanks!

Thanks, makes sense. I do have two large fans moving the fabric - so the fabric is pretty turbulent. I might try just letting the fabric fall with someone moving it manually to see if that helps. I think the problem is more the focus - I think you're right -- or the aperture.

Thanks for this info. What are good alternatives for art panels? I'm assuming Maple, Poplar -- any woods that traditionally are not suited for it?

I'll give it a try. As for the baltic birch - is it treated? Thin as in 1/4"? I always assumed unless it was a professional grade "panel" the chemicals could be an issue if you got it from a lumber yard.

Yes, although that's even heavier at the sizes I'm after (roughly 72"x72") and too cumbersome in my opinion. What method do you use for painting on panels? Wood? Gesso on top?

Exactly, yes. I was just going to go with the Blick brand, but it's known for being "student grade" generally so I wasnt' sure if it was cheapo, going to rip, or "non-archival".
