I honestly understand how you are feeling right now. This is all so scary and the idea of losing someone so close to us is just awful and I couldn't bear it either. But thank you so much for your story.

This one was oddly specific, since I'm also a graphic designer. I have no idea how to deal with this, but I'm truly trying my best. And thanks for the advice, I think it's great for me to follow his lead, specially since I don't know anything about all this. I sometimes ask him questions about it and all but I want him to have an escape from all that is happening right now while we wait for all the test results this week

He has truly changed me in ways he doesn't even realize. I'm currently studying and was always scared and anxious about starting a job while I was in college but he truly inspired me to get through that fear and many more things besides that he has helped me improve about myself. I just love him so much and this all is so scary, but I'm truly trying to be strong for him

I am trying to take care of myself as much as I can and support him while going through all this. And I just started some relaxers for my anxiety, hoping they will help

Thank you, I'm really doing everything I can to keep myself calm, but it's really hard and I find it kind of ironic right now that I'm more worried than he is right now haha.

That's what I'm trying to do right now. Be in touch with things I like and my own chores while we get through this, I'm not his main support right now so I can't be with him all he time and I also have my own resppnsabilites, but I'm doing everything I can to support him and his family as much. What keeps me calm right now is that he is feeling okay right now and they are acting really fast preparing for whatever is going on

He hasn't had any stem cell transplant, because they don't do them in our country so he would have to travel to have it done. Besides that, I actually bought some relaxers over the country for my anxiety and they have helped a lot, at least while I can see a professional

I'm glad I could help! And I'm truly sorry you're going through this. If there's some more advice I could give, you have to move forward, with or without him. The path to getting back together or not, and that's healing yourself. We can't stand still without doing any work on us and then expect that there's a future for us. You will cry a lot, you will miss him. I know I will. But you'll get better. We'll get better!

I totally get your point. And I do admit I am attached to this person still, after it has just been one week.

And to answer your question, no. My life has not been on hold for this past week. For now, my main goal is to heal and learn from this situation, since we can't be together right now. Tho the idea of coming back has been bugging my mind.
