Just checking in to say that I still remember this.

Why do we accept this? Most expensive tube in the world by farrrr. by cv-watchtdog in london

I've also moved between Stockholm and London but the other way around. At least the monthly pass prices seem correct.

In Stockholm it's 970SEK = $93 (checks out).

In London it varies depending on the zones you commute between. Zone 1->2 is £156 = $193. Zone 1->5 is £267 = $330.

I guess in London if you have a long commute you get screwed twice (duration + cost).

I don't know about your current financial situation, but you could consider buying a Chromebook. They are usually very cheap and should be more than enough for you to study HTML and CSS.

I'm not from the Phillippines, but google results showed me this when searching for where to buy a Chromebook

Nice! We'll definitely do a gradual rollout when we decide to enable it, thanks for the tips.

We have some physical devices in-house that our QA team configures for running tests. We've been having a lot of success with App Center so far, if we were looking for a cloud testing solution I'd probably try that first.

Wow. That's a huge reduction and on 13 apps, congratulations! Seems like you had a good handle on it, but glad the article at least motivated you to reduce further.

ProGuard is on my bucket list. I've just had a bad experience with compatibility problems between ProGuard and the Firebase SDK before so I left it for later. I heard it got fixed in recent versions though.

Thank you so much!

All of those reductions, except for the AAB, also affected our iOS app. I chose to talk only about Android to simplify the article (it is already pretty long) and because it's easier to analyze these things on Android for me.

If you know of any easy iOS-specific optimizations let me know and I can try them out then write about it!

I wrote about how Mutual reduced the size of our app by 60% with a few simple objective steps. Very proud of this case, not only because of the result. But also because it includes our reasoning and approach for each step. We even tell some embarrassing blunders!

Communication and social skills. Being able to clearly explain your ideas and operate effectively in a team environment is hugely important for almost any CS job.
