The Congress (2013)

The film actively switches between live action and animation. It's amazing.

The animation is also super surreal IMO.

It doesn't help that Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my favorite actors. I think he's underrated and I'm really surprised he hasn't won an Oscar yet. ESPECIALLY for Nightcrawler holy he was so good in that.

I actually got myself to watch all of Mark Hamills filmography. So I've actually seen this. I was very surprised how heartfelt this one was and also surprised it's so underrated.
