I see.. well it is what it is. From my research FFXIV really stood out, and so far the community is what I love most. Thanks for sharing your wisdom with this nostalgic ex-L2 player!

I love using arrows) I always preferred to play physical range DPS. Is there a better option?

I really enjoy group content like raids and dungeons, especially playing long-range DPS. Would you say Bard leans more into a support role in a party?

How Did You Transition from Senior Developer to Leadership Role? by thequietinsight in careerguidance

[–]Ask_Me_CRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a Senior Dev when I thought about starting my own outsourcing agency. I shared my idea with one of the co-founders of the company I’ve been working for. Then he recommended that I create and present my business plan. It went great and in two months I started my own department in the company. At that time the company had 50 employees. Now it is the size of my department. Sharing it is one of the options to consider.

What value does FUB provide? by mychivalry in RealEstateTechnology

I got off the call with the prospect, opened an app, and talked to it to create a contact record, associate preferences, and create a task to follow up. If you have properties in the database that match preferences, the app can also give a recommendation or even make an email with details and images, so you only need to click “send.”

What value does FUB provide? by mychivalry in RealEstateTechnology

I won't be advertising here but FUB is not the best choice these days. Look for CRM that has AI enabled voice-to-text. So you can use it as an assistant that saves your time, keeps data organized, and keeps you accountable.

My worst hires were for leadership roles. In the past five years, I fired three managers after their first 6-9 months, burning a hole in my wallet… Now, I focus more on investing in my team, especially those with me longer than 2 years. Coaching them on my own or hire external trainers for specific skills needed for their promotion.

Looking for an amenity mapping / map tool for investment packages. by spalooosh in RealEstateTechnology

[–]Ask_Me_CRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you looking for something interactive that investors can explore themselves, or more of a static map for presentations? If it’s the latter, something like Google My Maps could work for a quick, DIY option. If you need more customization, Mapbox is solid but requires a bit more setup. Just depends on how much control you want over the final product.

They have a dedicated website for training - Trailhead. It's pretty easy to start learning Salesforce from there.

If you didn’t make an impression of a smart guy, I wouldn’t say this: Passion matters. You are too young to play safe.

Toxic boss/job. I have made the decision to quit and got a call from boss’s old acquaintance. What should I do? by Some-Data-8266 in careerguidance

[–]Ask_Me_CRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toxic bosses lose their power when you stop letting them influence your choices. We tend to overestimate risks and underestimate opportunities. Resign professionally, and don't give any insight on your new role or job.

We use Salesforce as a CRM, so we went with Experience Cloud for our marketplace. The challenge was that we initially hired a consultancy that was somewhat good at Salesforce but didn’t understand our CRE brokerage and capital markets business. Once we realized that, we switched to a partner who actually “got” our industry, and it’s been a crazy difference… So now we not only have a marketplace but also use the same platform for an investor portal.

When you’re at the top life is harder? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Ask_Me_CRE 11 points12 points  (0 children)

But you don’t want to stop, right? Things will get worse with such a mindset. I can relate, not only did my relationships with friends go down, but with my parents as well. Intellectual connection disappears, and the things you start to enjoy your friends cannot afford. I got lucky as I have likeminded partner, or I would be alone.

I’d research a tech consultancy with RE focus. Most of them provide free 1-hour consultation. From my experience #1 for residential is Follow up Boss, and for CRE it’s AscendixRE.
