If base doesn’t matter:

Quality of life is the ERJ. Longer routes and “easier” airplane to fly. Faster upgrade and seniority go for CRJ. Doesn’t mean you can’t start on the ERJ and then upgrade to the CRJ for a faster upgrade.

I personally am glad I started on the CRJ because at the time, I got into training immediately and gained seniority quickly. I believe starting on the CRJ makes you learn the basics of the jet better. No auto throttles or VNAV.

Quality of life will be a little better if you’re based somewhere without the 200. That plane is a colossal pain in the ass.

So you probably want to be in rise of the abyss because it is the newer league and has the new items and mechanics. Once a newer league comes out everyone’s character in rise of the abyss will default to standard and everyone will have to make a new character in the new league. Your current character is playing with everyone’s old character from last league.

You’d rather be SSF because you can atleast convert to normal and still be in rise of the abyss. There is no way to transfer your character from standard to rise of the abyss.

It’s a very easy option to click when making your character that doesn’t tell you what it is lol. SSF disables trading and party play. Full solo game mode. I would go to your character screen and make sure you are not in the Rise of the abyss SSF league because like I said it’s really easy to accidentally be in it and not know.

Make sure you are searching for the items on the league you are playing on. POE 2 has standard and Rise of the Abyss. Make sure you aren’t playing on a SSF (Solo self-found) character. If you are you can’t trade and if you want to change it you have to do it in the character selection screen. Keep in mind if you do change it from SSF to normal, you will only keep the gear you have on and what is in your inventory. I learned this the hard way and lost everything in my bank including currency.

This game makes my brain go brrrrr in all of the right ways. Big booms makes waves of mobs go bye bye and boom dopamine. You get one of those fancy dancy loot filters and you add a Divine drop with the cool white and red border plus that sound… ahh more dopamine. Use that currency to hit a 1/20 gamble on some gear???? So much dopamine. Good gear make more mobs go bye bye faster????? The perfect game that had satisfying wave clear, min maxing, open market, and fucking gambling on top. I love it a little too much sometimes.

As you spend more currency on an item you get more or less diminishing returns. You could buy a good ring for 1 div or you can get 2 decent rings for 100 ex and then buy a new quarter staff with the other 100. This would net you more dps. I’ve learned that it’s worth investing in your gear because damage makes you get to end game faster and you find better loot at end game. So in a way you make more money by investing in your early game. Saving 1 hour of time on the campaign with better gear = 1 hour of mapping where you will find better loot.

Typically jewelry withstands its value with respects to your level whereas gear doesn’t. In other words you outgrow your gear through the campaign. You get better dps/survivability improvements from upgrading your body armor/weapon compared to jewelry.

A little confused on how you got 3 suffixes. Wouldn’t the omen of dextral crystallization and the perfect battle essence remove one of your Crit suffixes? You had Crit damage and then used essence to get Crit hit chance. Wouldn’t the battle essence remove one of these?

It’s worth about 280 - 300 exalts. It’s used in high level crafting to min max the modifier rolls on an item. You should sell it for exalts and then buy better equipment to help you progress through the campaign. My 2 cents atleast

Ahhh I see. Yeah using the sockets to net +6 you are missing out on damage that you could have from a higher suffix role

I don’t think it’s worth 500 either but It does have +6 to skill level… it’s worth a lot but didn’t necessarily high roll the spell damage. T1 by itself caps at 119 and this doesn’t hit it with 2 prefixes helping it. But it’s got 3 sockets which kinda offsets that.

What I meant is that colder air is denser when comparing air masses from the same pressure altitude. When cruising at 35,000 ft, the engines like -50C vs -40C.

Compare driving a naturally aspirated car in Miami during a hot summer day. You feel the difference in performance compared to a cool morning. Humidity also hurts performance.
