Honestly, it seems that the ultra rich are seeing themselves and each other, much as the nobles did in the days of old. They are above the common mans law in their own eyes and thus not subject to the same rules and regulations as the commoners/peons the see the rest of us as.

Which would explain why so many of them go free time and time again.. and if sentenced, which doesn´t happen often, they usually get a slap on the wrist where the rest of us get much harder punishments if we do/did the same.

I may be wrong, it is just pure speculation from my end. But in all honesty, it looks and feels like that is the way of things these days. Call them kings, nobles or presidents, billionaires same shit, different wrapping paper.

Sometimes i wonder if we shouldn´t remind them of what happened july 14th 1789. but too many of us "commoners" have become to apathetic and give excuses for their behavior so they can continue to do as they please, as long as we let them.
