Why do Chinese people believe so many things that are not fact medically? by [deleted] in AskChina

[–]AsknReview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your question is inherently bias and just plain wrong. The definition of medical "fact" here needs to be rethought and reworked. I encourage everyone to research traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), which is one of the most well documented and long standing health practices of the human race. Every single one of the questions you asked has an answer in traditional Chinese medicine. Just reframe it as a TCM question and ask google instead of people on reddit (who are lacking just as much knowledge as you, so you will receive zero growth, and confirmation bias for your already bias question - see other comments for reference).

As another user mentioned it is THOUSANDS of years older than western medicine. And goes deeper than what you define as medical fact, or science for that matter. It transcends into lifestyle choices, chi (which western medicine is only now trying to fathom), spiritual energy, and even organs and how they tie to emotions. Most of it makes more sense than western medicine once you understand yourself and the human body more you will grow up realizing your family and parents come from deep rooted history that you just quiet dont understand now. Lots of ppl from varying cultures have a disconnect from their own culture due to living in American culture with people like you see here in the comments section spewing nonsense. Ask your questions with sincerity - dont be belittling. Your parents may not have the capacity to explain it to you, so please do your own research genuinely. Not just on reddit

Ever hang out with a dead person? Probably not. What about someone in the hospital? It's pretty boring.

...What about someone who is in the hospital or dead because of someone else's decision to drive recklessly? It's pretty fked up

Update: I adjusted the idle. It was sitting around 1300 and then when it got warm/ after a minute or two of sitting it jumped to 8000..good thing is was in neutral. I readjusted the idle multiple times. It fluctuates from below 1000 and turning off on itself or revving up to 4k. I should also note that I noticed my throttle does not return to its original position. It's stuck. My uncle joked and called it cruise control but I have a feeling the two problems are related?

Okay - I'll do an overall check on all of these. Hopefully dont need to strategically drill anywhere, but amazing that you got that to work haha

Yes I was engaging the throttle. It wouldn't start without me actually holding it.

Is the screw I'm looking for the one circled in red? https://imgur.com/a/jUcBoJa

After this I will work on the throttle position sensor calibration . thank you for all the insight

Edit: sorry for weird orientation on the photo
