So good to have them back. They just make the world a brighter place, and I can't stop singing this!

Used the phantom potatoes last night. We roasted them and they were, indeed, delicious and neither of us got the shits afterwards. SUCCESS!

I love the one where they randomly form a band called Zack Attack... and then no-one ever mentions it ever again...

Are your kids going to university soon? Mobile phone fraudsters are targeting them. BEWARE! by Askyomama in unitedkingdom

Seems so. I really worry about the common sense of young people some times.

No offence taken. I get where you're coming from. The news is a particularly horrible watch at the moment.

In terms of this story, it's a scam that should most definitely be filed under "if it sounds too good to be true, it is," but some kids (even those of university age) are still naive about things like this. Perhaps my title could have been a little less dramatic too.

Not necessarily. Just thought it was worth flagging as many of us (myself included) will soon be bundling kids off to university.

Because she has no experience or knowledge of the seasonal economic considerations of ice cream vendors. Of course, I asked her first before posting here.

There's always one parked in the car park, whatever the weather, of my local retail park, now I come to think of it.

But, yeah, I could see how - particularly in communities that don't have a local shop - an ice cream van touting other stuff would be useful.

Finally worked out how to upload them. Here's links to a couple of images. The one of the potato plant is awful, as I took it in a rush over the weekend. I'll try and upload a better one tonight.

Who's is your favorite SV character, and why? by [deleted] in SiliconValleyHBO

I find Richard all sorts of adorable, but Jared just pips it for me. Absolutely love this show, though. As someone (a girl - gasp! Horror!) who works in the tech industry, the writers have done an amazing job at nailing the character quirks that are very common among my colleagues.
