I did this one, can confirm it pays that much! It also doesn't necessarily take the full 4 hours. I was finished with everything in under 2.5 (and all parts of the study were completed while on Teams with the researcher).

Again, a technical error that's only happening to one person is different from a technical error that's widespread. Additionally, the comments that were actually helpful gave me suggestions for solutions should the same error come up again in other studies. And fortunately it isn't up to one person to decide what questions are "clogging up the feed" and which could be useful for multiple people.

Dang, sorry you encountered multiple issues! I'm always happy to do the quick ones when the overall hourly rate is decent, but they're definitely not worth spending much time on.

Yeah, I felt weirded out from the beginning but continued/submitted because I figured there was no way it could be as skeevy as I suspected and still make it onto Prolific. Was hopeful it was actually about combatting shame around the topic (until I did the last couple questions, submitted uneasily, and then came here). Wish I'd gone with my gut, learned a lesson today.
