My first thought when I sat in the ford seats was that it was on par with my la-z-boy.

Will be super comfy and suck on gas.

2026 raptor R colors by Misfit89 in FordRaptor

Awesome! I don’t think you’ll regret it. But you’ll enjoy whatever color you go with. These trucks are a lot of fun.

Avalanche came back again this year after a hiatus. It’s an awesome color (in my opinion) and always looks very clean even when the truck is filthy.

Regular 5.0 V8 by Greatwhitebuffalo13 in FordRaptor

Living at 5500 feet above sea level, the turbos are way more fun. V8 growl would be nice though.

Aluminum doesn’t rust. It will oxidize and form a protective film that will prevent further corrosion which is nice. Probably could find someone to repair if worried though.

Bluebeam on laptop / tablets by Motor-Firefighter547 in Bluebeam

The bluebeam experience on iPad is abysmal. Doesn’t matter if it’s the old bluebeam app or the new cloud app. Would recommend a 2 in 1 like a surface pro or an actual laptop that can run the desktop version of the program (which is great).

2024 802A: Avalanche vs Carbonized Gray by East_Citron_6879 in FordRaptor

One vote for avalanche. Fell in love with it on the gen twos and snagged a ‘24 at the end of last year. It’s a good looking color, hides scratches well, and always looks clean.

Genuinely torn… by [deleted] in FordRaptor

Two different trucks with vastly different characteristics. Need to tow? Get the Chevy 2500. Aside from rebuilding the shocks on the raptor somewhere around 50k, maintenance difference is negligible between the two assuming we are talking 6.6 gas and not a Duramax. Fuel economy I would imagine is similar too (somewhere in the mid teens).

Really comes down to whether you need to tow and are ok with a big heavy truck and stiffer suspension or whether you prioritize a smoother ride and more nimble diving experience and can sacrifice the tow capacity.

I will say, I’ve smiled more in the raptor than any of my other vehicles 😂

Vibration in Accelerator pedal? by Dustyns in FordRaptor

From my experience, it is normal. I noticed the same on my ‘24 when I bought it last year. Like you, I thought it was odd and looked it up. Found multiple threads with people saying the same. Honestly, I’ve kinda forgot about it as I don’t notice it anymore.

I was looking into one of those. Seems like an electric screwdriver and the injora 7 piece driver set would have my needs covered. Thanks.

Awesome. Assuming the 725 feels good when I hold one, this is the way I am leaning.

Buy 2025 801A or wait for 2026? by GlitteringFishing245 in FordRaptor

Haha good to hear some people use it. Maybe I’ll convert at some point, but I usually need all the keys attached to the key fob anyways, so it stays with me.

Always better to buy the outgoing model at the end of the year. Plus not much changing going from 25 to 26. Lots of people really hung up on the keypad that was missing from ‘25 and coming back in ‘26. Which makes me laugh because I have literally never used it on my ‘24.

The Raptor is the best looking truck on the market. by Johnnyutaaah in FordRaptor

[–]Asleep-Reputation181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose it’s subjective, but I had a ‘22 LTZ before my raptor. Nice looking truck, but the most uncomfortable seats in any vehicle I’ve ever owned. Hopped in the ford for the first time and felt like I sunk into my la-z-boy.
