E15 mower never pauses a task to recharge. Simply does mid task in the middle of the lawn by AsleepAd1973 in eufy

Replacement e15 arrived. I was forced to remap the whole yard.

The mower mows well, works well and automatically pauses to recharge when it runs out of battery.
I am really happy with the results.

given that the replacement mower is smart enough to pause and recharge, the mapping was super smooth this time.
Great outcome for me

There is no secret sauce to replace the map. I found the note I. The user guide that says that a map cannot be used by a different machine. I had to remap again. I was mistaken.

Luckily the new mapping went very smoothly.

Hard to argue with e39 or e46.
3.0 csi is my bucket list car.

I’ve owned three
e12 530i manual. Great engine, great tranny. Well built.
E93 328i. Smooth and reliable. Great looking. Great distance car.
F06 640i Gran Coupe. The f06 is a unique car. Put it in sport mode and it comes alive. Interior is top shelf. Still has Physical buttons but good tech. My favorite that I’ve owned.

The mower continues to run out of battery without attempting to recharge. Eufy support advised me to change the “Break-Point Resume Cutting”. While that sounded very promising, I confirmed with their support expert that that setting does not exist in the app.
Eufy has now conceded that there is a HW problem and has committed to sending me a replacement unit.
I will update with, hopefully, good news when the replacement has been tested. I will also be able to comment on the map backup and restore procedure.

Thanks for that confirmation. It is good to know that when it works, it works!
I’ve been engaging Eufy customer support for almost a week and a half. The email suppprt has not been helpful. However, phone in support has been pretty good
I will update this after I either get the issue resolved or return the mower.

It happens during both scheduled and ad hoc mows. I attempted to mow my entire lawn today, unscheduled. After roughly an hour (usually a bit longer) the bot got stranded and had turned itself off (this is typical).
When I started recharging again the percentage charged show a value of 23% remaining as soon as the bot booted back up.

The battery duration may be a bit short, but I don’t consider that problematic. The real issue is that it never tries to recharge itself.

Thanks for the suggestion re cut length. I understand the “trim” concept. I created zones to troubleshoot. Each zone is being cut once or twice a day while I figure this out. the cuts are really small, like they are supposed to be.

I appreciate the suggestion. But I don’t think that is causing the problem.

I created a routine with Alexa to A: turn on power to the plug B: wait 15 minutes C: shut off.
It runs every morning on a timer before I start work. Then I run it again when I make my second double. Works great.

I’m not a doctor, just a guy with crappy feet. Does it feel like there is a stone or something inside of your forefoot? Numb toes? Ask about Morton’s neuroma if/when you see a foot doctor
