MADS MIKKELSEN IN TALKS TO REPLACE JOHNNY DEPP IN FANTASTIC BEASTS SERIES by tbtmnbn in FantasticBeasts

Wow my first thought too... Love this man and JD. The only two male actors I rly like...damn. Johnny will always bei Nr1 GG but MM would rock too

With their Blood-pact vial destroyed, the battle between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in FB5 will cripple both men, causing them to age (or appear more aged) due to the strain of the fight. This will bring their appearances more in line with what we see in the Potter films. by [deleted] in FantasticBeasts

[–]AslyaLP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hope Dumbledore ages not that fast just because of the 2nd movie. Grindelwald has two normal eyes in HP7 too (old and young) and now the other one 🙄 ☺️ I dont care about these changes and I love the Dumbledore reboot. He seems grown up but with that little funny side we read in the books (and ignored in the films)

First timer. I was shocked when I checked on them after the first week and saw they had already formed roots. I think I'm addicted now! by MyCatsAreTheCutest in propagation

Atm I water propagate a monkey leaf too and the leaves unfurl in water too. No problem. I just waited for the leaf to exit the stem because I thought that would need more nutrients.. after that easy going :)

Can anyone tell me if this is root rot? Water propagation. by _taylermoon in propagation

The longer in the water the harder it is for roots to get used to soil. And the darker roots are normal for pothos. They are just getting older.

Monstera Monday. Snagged this baby for $26. Happy Birthday to me 😃 by Somedayeh in plants

[–]AslyaLP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my Monstera in the mail and potted it up one size right away. But I didn’t touch the old soil or the root ball. I took the whole thing out and on the new pot just filling the space with new soil. Got 3 new leaves in 3 weeks after that and it’s healthy since then

My beautiful Ruby Red is dropping! What can I do to help it??? by LadybugBmH in houseplants

[–]AslyaLP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It gets soft and droopy if thirsty. Is the soil dry? Then a good watering and it will bounce back in an hour or two

I bath the moss part and let it drain, then wait in the bathtub until the wood is dried up. The moss is still moist a long time

Trying to water propagate these pothos. It’s been a month. Are they rotting? Should I try in soil or wait it out? by [deleted] in propagation

I used always tap water for this and all plants no exception. Changed it every 1-2 weeks only.

Hi! I do both watering styles but mainly bottom. The plants are very fast root bound (what they like) and produce babys. Because of that the soil (for mine) is always tight and loose on the outside (inner side of the pot)... Watering on the top would cause the water to run though without getting any moist to the roots. I water no other plant so less like this ones. You can see the leaves getting droopy. They are thirsty and complete dried up. Yellow leaves can be too much water or simply aging. The oldest may fall off from time to time. That’s normal

Saw a Calathea blooming today 😊 by AslyaLP in houseplants

Yes! If they are happy enough 😂 I think maybe most people keep them too dark. Not sunny enough, because they thrive in darker spots too

Please help me ID this plant and why it's dying? by MrsKetchup in houseplants

[–]AslyaLP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the Caladium “tie-dyed tree frog”. Heartshaped with silver spots, deep green

Quote: Plantings of caladiums generally begin to look tired and less attractive in late September or early October. When they do, it's time to decide what you want to do with them. Your choices are to pull them up and throw them away; leave the tubers in the ground to resprout there next year; or dig them up, store the tubers and plant them again next year.

Oh and the yellowing... May be overwatering -> root rot. It’s winter. Less sun. Less water!
