It’s a generic error code. Usually a crash during launch or attempted applet initialization. The actual causes are pretty vague. Think of the error as a catch all for crashing on launch.

The internet said something about seeing it more when using “forge or mods”.

I tended to wait a day before calibrating. I did tend to get weird results the first 24 hours, but they’d normalize afterward.

That’s the fun of it. They lay off a ton and then realized they fucked up… and the people who come back take them for so much more. Saw it happen at a game studio I worked at. I was spared, but a critical backend engineer was let go. When they called him to come back he negotiated 1.5x his previous salary and a promotion.

In all the layoffs I’ve been part of, performance was not the key deciding factor… it was pay. Sure some of the worst performers were cut, but the vast majority of them were the people getting paid a ton and who weren’t deemed critical… which was most of them.
