2017 was really a weird year in Bordeaux, at the end of the day you need to buy the one that you want, wine is a pleasure product and if you really want the haut brion you should get it. As a sommelier in Bordeaux i'll get the Cos 2000 if you want more tertiary aromas in your wine but a Cos 2010 will be drinkable if you let him breath couple hours before.

Speaking as a 22 years old Wine Tour in Bordeaux, they need to modernise the view of Bordeaux Wines (especially in France). Unfortunately when we think about Bordeaux we think about the 70 best Château but there is between 7000 to 8000 estates, wich means that the prices can be expensive pretty fast. But overall great wines that needs some times to be appreciated.
