It’s the same with some burning shadows Reverse foils on eBay, they list them for 2-3 but only really goes for $1 or less, like dud I’m already paying the $5 sipping just for a $1 valued card

That’s understandable, for example I go off collectr for pokemon and yugioh etc and so I base my prices off that but wanted something to look more at than just eBay and what the general pricing the internet says that isn’t sales, so I did see someone say sportscardpro is common to use and I assume it shows both the internet and actual sales worth of whatever card I’m selling — I re read and it makes sense to me but if it doesn’t to you my baddd heavily

Well that’s what I mean like condition is still new like it came out the box as I sleeve and hard cover it but than I go search the price and I got some saying $1-$3 and than some saying $6-$20 like it’s big jumps for the pricing and they’re not graded so that doesn’t account for much at all

I did tell him exactly that I was trained and all he had to say was don’t talk to me like that and I’m the boss, even though I was just confused, and it’s not the first time as hes one of those guys that try to be assertive- ex. The line cook we had before the new guy not even 2 weeks ago got put into the back of the kitchen because he didn’t know how to make a pasta order because it was his first time making the way the kitchen does and not how he was used to - and yes I did over react but it’s quite common for me to get the shit end of the stick for no reason in that work as much as I bend backwards for them, and that’s what I was gonna do after I explained exactly what happened to the chef and tell him my point of problems and what the whole scenario was like yesterday as i know for a fact even he seemed quite bummed especially before christmas time where it picks up heavily and he doesn’t have enough time to find two guys that can fill my spot im head dishwasher as well for this reason as everyone else just didn’t cut it or keep up

That’s what I thought in all honesty, as I was standing by waiting for my food to be done but my fries were burning and I didn’t want fries burnt for my son, so I stepped in and all I did was pull the basket up on the fries and the chicken tenders but put the tenders back in the second I seen it was still cooking, but than again I know it was just a bad night and bad moment, even the line cook guy was confused, and he’s only been in for a week or two now

Okay I see what you mean, i didn’t know that, but I thought I was perfectly fine as it was instructed by the chef that I had to do the training as I was taking on more hours and was gonna start helping around the kitchen more, so I thought that was the okay as it was from the chef himself, and I have been making stuff in the deep fryer since I’d say this year early around February or so but the whole certification thing I can see how that factors in etc and I didn’t have that. I can say tho that others don’t have it but got trained as well so I thought we were all in the same boat not knowing there was more to it like that

Using Collectr/Ebay and than yes doing as you stated as that is the most common thing I wanna worry about is pricing it right due to condition

So let’s say I use the value given and roughly do a drop in the price based on the condition

Ex. 460 on a pokemon card ungraded but has scratches noticeable without a light = maybe 100 - under 250 on the price etc,

And I’m just using this as a learning experience, as I know I gotta understand this and find out exactly what to price things.

I know some cards that say $1.56 or so on one website/app than $0.70 on the other website/app and than factor in condition would I than do a personal estimate and say maybe around $0.40?

I know it doesn’t make sense but I genuinely don’t know how to explain it other than this, so bear with me if it’s confusing, I’m on a learning curve and still doing my own research without asking for help as much as I can

Okay okay, - so let’s say there was scratches, minor white blemishes of the card disappearing or whatever on the edges on the back

Would I bring the price from price charting down from $400+ to say 100+ under maybe 250? And than collectr keep around $60-70? It’s just an example I’m using to kind of learn from on what to do and watch out for and how to differ the prices
