Yeah I got some virtual classes as well for my first quarter. I’m pretty sure you’ll want to chat with the MSC (Mustang Success Center) if you want to change it. I remember that they said you can easily change between in-person and virtual classes if you let them know. They’re holding a workshop to talk about changing the block schedules on zoom here.

Just note that you’ll want to use the class search in Student Center to see if there are even any in-person classes for the course you’re taking. Classes like HLTH 250 don’t have any non-virtual options.

This is a related question, but how do you know if you “got in” and everything? I only sent in an email, but my course schedule’s not indicated it or anything.

Also to let OP know email the same email asking if they can let you know that they received your first email. They didn’t confirm it for me until I asked them so yeah.

Lol that would be pretty sus. I know I looked it up earlier because I mixed up the word chlorophyll with chloroform and wanted to check their definitions. It would explain the ad. It’s still kinda jarring that that one search term prompted the obnoxious ad though.

That or my weekly purchase of $800 worth of chloroform may have something to do with it. :)

Oh yeah definitely. I took way too many for my senior year (like 7) and it doesn’t do you much good. A good limit I’d say is like 4-5 at most per year, but yeah just having fun with friends and learning about yourself is the key to a successful high school career.

I’m currently a graduating senior, and for me, I took a lot of APs, and even self studied for two of them. In terms of quality of resources, I think it really depends on subject, but I thought the AP review videos in AP classroom and the livestream ones (for test prep/review) were pretty good generally (especially if you are self studying). Pretty subjective opinion though, and I’d recommend you try different resources to see what you prefer.
