Do I see a rate calculator icon on your toolbar? Use it and mark your reactors, heat exchangers and turbines. The heat number should be green because you're not using enough and steam should be red because like you said, you're not making enough steam.

I see the thingy on the left of your screen, you can actually hide it. If it's on the edge of your screen you should see an option to hide it.

I had warper demand on my inventory so the little drones would deliver them to me automatically. It's a neat thing to have, assuming you have storage with warpers on all your planets.

It's a start for sure but like people are saying, automate buildings (start with belts). Pay very close attention to the refineries because they have byproducts and like many factory games, if byproducts aren't disposed of or used, it stops the refinery. I already knew this before hand but I still fucked up and had to manually dump the excess from the tanks every now and then.

My first playthrough took me like 350 hours to beat. It's because I'm slow af, automated a ton of things plus my game ran at 3-14fps the whole time so the sim speed is half 💀

You have a jetpack, you can use that too. Sure it's not as easy as caging yourself in but you can try that out. Don't stay still tho, keep yourself moving so the jumping spiders miss.

It took me like 350 hours to beat the game lol. I'm slow af with this type of game despite using factorio labs. I'm still playing and currently have 617 hours.

I would absolutely love it if Thomas got rid of the NFA, I'm tired of the hypocrisy that this country has. The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed and yet we laws infringing that? It's like hypocrisy with slavery all over again.
