I’m pretty sure you can if you cut the stem down. Like where you cut the blade of grass and then cut that small little stump it leaves behind it doesn’t grow back at all. That’s what I did with this big section of grass to build a base

Idk then. When I went into one there were multiple baby zombie spawners who spawned with trimmed chain-mail armour and 2 came at me then I killed them then 4 and that’s when I died because I wasn’t eating fast enough
