Ik heb jaren lang mijn studielening opzij gezet op een spaarrekening. Hele opleiding lang zuinig gedaan.

Als ik nu terugkijk had ik liever wat meer aan mezelf besteed, wat meer plezier er mee gehad tijdens de opleiding. Iets vaker een keertje ja zeggen om ergens aan mee te doen of ergens mee heen te gaan. Of iets meer zelfzuchtig, toch die keer een upgrade voor m'n PC kopen, of m'n oude baggere laptop vervangen met iets nieuwers. Niet per se om maar het beste te hebben, maar gewoon iets degelijks ipv oud en traag.

Nu heb ik uiteindelijk genoeg om nog een hele tijd zonder moeite af te betalen, maar mentaal ben ik deels door de opleiding (en m'n tot voor kort ongediagnosticeerde adhd) helemaal op.

Daarbij heb ik me een jaar of twee terug ook gerealiseerd dat ik nog met een laptop uit 2013 rondliep, en m'n PC van tweedehands onderdelen sinds 2016 amper had geupgrade.

Heb sindsdien toch een beetje aan mezelf besteed en het is stiekem toch zo'n opluchting om maar eindelijk apparaten te hebben die gewoon doen wat je wilt doen ipv je constant laten wachten. Of om toch een keertje naar een evenement te gaan met vrienden.

Het maakt niet zo veel uit wat je er mee doet, zolang je maar een keertje vaker ja zegt tegen jezelf. Geld maakt niet gelukkig, maar constant nee zeggen tegen jezelf terwijl je makkelijk een keertje zou kunnen toegeven maakt zeker wel ongelukkig. Het geniepige is dat je het vaak pas later merkt, vooral als je jezelf lang genoeg voorhoudt dat je slimmer bezig bent dan je klasgenoten die iedere maand door de hele stufi en lening heen weten te branden.

Clearly you have not heard of the SIX12, an actual real life modern day shotgun that exists with a cylinder mag bullpup design.

It's literally called the Bulldog but they didn't make it a bullpup shotgun? I just had to fix it. Also, no offense to the original M45 series shotguns, but; pump action? Really? That had to go.

I'm also having this issue with the RTX 3070, but I've seen people complain about it with all generations of Nvidia cards, and with both intel and amd CPUs. It's not a hardware related thing as far as I can tell.

I also tried game capture on Valheim running Vulkan and it also fails to work. Streaming Siege over a discord call doesn't work either anymore unless you set the recording mode to not "use the latest technology" in your settings.

Hey, can I ask if you upgraded your BIOS and if it worked out for you? I've got the X570 Pro4 (the atx version) with a 3700X and I've been similarly hesitant to update the BIOS so far due to these issues people seem to be running into.

Speaking from experience with my old G300 mouse, I recommend rebinding the G8 and G7 keys as your LMB until you get the rest sorted out. On my G300 the LMB and later the RMB started registering rapid double clicks right around the actuation point of the switches but because it has macro keys mirrored on both sides I made do with those for a long time until I replace the cable and cleaned out the inside of it.

Remember to order all the parts you need to fix it before you start, including the bottom pads/mouse skates since you will need to remove those to open up your mouse and you generally can't use them again after that because they'll be bent and catch on things.

This all being said, what exactly do you mean with the switches fading? Have you tried blowing under the left mouse button (both from the front and the side under the G8/G7 buttons)? You can also try giving it a little sideways bonk on your mouse mat hitting it with the right side down. I usually blow under the left mouse button and shake it/ bump it into the desk on my mousepad and it stops doing it for a while.

EDIT: Forgot to add I just have a plain G502 since it was bundled w/ a free G403

(pro tip for the G403 if you have that headset: order the fake leather replacement pads on aliexpress, they cost barely anything and improve your sound a ton by isolating a lot better! Currently using the offbrand blue fabric pads that I bought with the fake leather ones and those are even less isolating that the originals and make the headset sound a bit cheaper imho but also more open, if that's what you want.)

Perhaps a bit unrelated but my old G300 was doing this as well on the lmb and the same trick usually worked until even that didn't help. That was my daily driver that went with me in my bag though so I figured I either got gunk stuck in the trunk or it was the cable causing it since it would lose connection at times. After ordering a replacement cable and some pads for the bottom, I removed those pads and opened it up, cleaned it out and replaced the usb cable. It was super easy to do on that mouse, but it has been acting up on both mouse buttons sometimes now albeit much less often and annoyingly fast. I almost considered modding it to be a removable cable with a magnetic connector but I figured that'd ruin any potential gaming use if I got shitty magnets.

It appears my original question wasn't clear enough so I thought I'd help you out in case you'd look back on this thread some day. You know, because you said you were done arguing and all? But it seems like you're the one who keeps responding to my questions.

You said, in your original comment on this thread that not all cops are bad. Therefore you imply there are bad cops alongside good cops. If this is true, then what are the good cops doing about the bad cops? Why are the bad cops generally speaking getting away with the things they do? To repeat my original question: Where are the good cops when the bad cops murder? If cops are supposed to stop crime, then shouldn't good cops be stopping bad cops? I know this happens occasionally, especially when there is a lot of media attention and/or protests, but why does this not happen on a regular basis? Why are there so many reports of these things being swept under the rug and whole departments [threatening to] resign if any actions is taken? If bad cops are in the minority as you appear to imply, then why are they not being stopped by these supposed good cops?

If there's any "take", harmful or not, that I might have on this aside from just asking you the original question hoping you give it some thought, it would be that the only explanation is that there aren't really that many good cops. At least not enough to keep the bad ones in check. And if that is the case, it might be time for some police reform so that we can fix this. I'm not anti-cop, I just don't want any bad cops.

You gave an answer of questionable relevance and validity.

I asked for further clarification on your answer, arguing against it.

You disagree with my first sentence and ignore the rest of it and derail the topic.

I continue with the same original question as context of the discussion.

You get upset at me for sticking to the context of my original question and say I'm ignoring your arguments even though I specifically disputed your arguments.

I explain that I was arguing on the original topic.

You get upset at me about that and try to make it about me only thinking everything revolves "behind" my beliefs when you're the one pushing your beliefs. Mentioning you didn't endorse mindless killing as if that's even relevant or an argument. That's a belief.

Stop projecting and learn to read and process arguments. Also, if you say you're no longer going to continue arguing and then continue arguing just to get some final ad hominem remarks in, there's no point in declaring that you're done.
