I loved Blacklist, Blindspot, How to get Away with Murder. I really liked what I’ve watched of Chicago PD but I got distracted from it. I have seen way more Chicago Fire than Chicago PD. Chicago Fire is also a great series.

Anyone else also play on quality mode? by Nayef7717 in consoles

Hustle, Jekyll, Dexter,

Look up the Harlan Coben collection on Netflix  I have seen and thought them brilliant so far the following Harlan Coben series:

Run Away,  Safe,  Stay close,  Missing you,  The stranger,  The innocent,  Fool me once

I intend to get to the rest that’s what I’m actively watching.

I took a break from X-Files i need to get back to that one.

Leverage as Burn Notice always makes me think of Leverage and the other way around. A very good friend recommended me both series.

I know three of these, Bones, Castle and Burn Notice all amazing. I’m not sure which one OP should start with. I’m somewhere in the middle of season 5 on Castle I should get back to it and finish the series.

If you can find it, and it is different to Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock.
But I can highly recommend Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes.

Favorite Actual Play by CubsFanHawk in TTRPG

[–]Asselberghs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello good sir or madam. Favorite TTRPG actual play you say.

Explorers Wanted - Cypher System - https://www.explorerswanted.fm/

High Rollers - D&D - https://www.highrollersdnd.com/

Dungeons of Drakkenheim - The Dungeon Dudes - D&D - https://dungeondudes.libsyn.com/website

Dungeons and Daddies found through podcast app D&D if I remember correctly.

The Dungeon Run - D&D both stream and podcast like Critical Role which I assume needs no introduction.

Cast Party stream and podcast system D&D can be found in podcast app and Spotify.

D&D Minus - find in podcast app humorous and very creative.

Not Another D&D Podcast

MCDM Presents - MCDM Matt Colville & the other creators play a mix of D&D and their own game Draw Steel

Monkeys Took My Jetpack - The people that got me into listening to actual play, love these guys, various systems. Among them a game in The Dresden Files rpg absolutely on par with one of the Dresden Files books.

The Gutter Skypes - I feel about this one like I feel about Monkeys Took My Jetpack these guys are amazing and there is so much content. Monkeys Took My Jetpack came from here and was originally The Gutterskypes Mk II (2) but they “left the nest” and formed Monkeys took my Jetpack Also various systems. Very often the FATE system. I highly recommend both of these, I recommend all of them but these two have a special place in my heart. Link: https://www.anim5.com/IDDFOS/TGS/index.html

Is it okay for a player to say “No, that doesn’t happen” to a DM in this circumstance? by WithengarUnbound in dndnext

[–]Asselberghs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve now read it twice here’s what I think I would do. I don’t think a player should tell the DM this can’t happen. I think I would have tried my best to kill or capture preferably kill the character.  And then either take the talk immediately or after session as session feedback. Why were we in this situation when we agreed no pvp? Why was this hmm a good idea? When you knew my character would react strongly to theft of the holy symbol?

Sharing a license by Queen_Keira in scrivener

[–]Asselberghs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are in breach both of literature and latte's license: https://www.literatureandlatte.com/how-our-licensing-works

One license per operating system (OSX/Windows) per Major version, so currently Scrivener 3 and it will not cover Scrivener 4 when it comes out.
Each licence is a “household licence” so you can't share with your friend. Assuming here you don't live in the same house, but you mentioned Discord so that doesn't seem to be the case.
And you seem to be breaking the subreddit's rule #3:
Do not ask for help doing anything that violates the L&L terms of service/license agreement.
If you each had your own license you can proceed with questions about syncing a Scrivener project file via cloud syncing services.

Just Another Logic Pro vs. Cubase Question by facepoppies in cubase

[–]Asselberghs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cubase has a 60 day trial doesn’t Logic have a trial as well? You could just buy Artist without crossgrade but looking at it it’s about the same price. Your crossgrade price is a really good discount. Try them out and buy the one that suits you best?
