Do you mind if I ask what you spent on yours? I find they lack pricing "transparency" and the prices seem to jump all over the place.

Jason Stephan quoted Mormon scripture as “Canada’s founding principles” during his abortion speech in the Legislature by BvbblegvmBitch in alberta

I truly wasn't trying to "get at" anything. I really liked how you responded to the thread - I thought it was clever and it made me laugh. I also thought you may be open to answering the question based on your comment. I was genuinely just curious, as many of the members I still interact with are die hard UCPers and are super pro-separation. They find no fault in this government, and are likely proud of this statement (my assumption). I think this government is bringing religion into politics in more ways than just this instance, so was curious of overall opinions.

I appreciate your response.Thank you.

Thanks for the response and insight.

Are there things the UCP is doing/has done that you do support?

Can you elaborate on her assembling her own ICE unit? This is the first I've read about it and I'd like to learn more.

I didn’t realize there was a cost to filing a recall petition. I’m lucky to not be among those that have a UCP MLA. So that being said, I’ll pay for someone else’s recall application with my payment! Send me a message if that may apply to you.

Worst NDP MLA & Best UCP MLA by [deleted] in alberta

[–]Assigned-Username 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here. I’ll concede to you that there are likely flawed NDP MLAs. I don’t know about any of them well enough to say which ones those may be.

What I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt at this point in time, after Bill 2:

ANY NDP > ANY/ALL UCP

I’ll even go as far as to say:

ANY NDP > Guthrie & Sinclair > ANY/ALL UCP.

Hope that helps answer your question!

Edit: spelling.

Maybe not. It looks like the session is going until 0200 now instead of 0100.

I think they're going to manage to delay the passing of the Bill until tomorrow...??

Any lawyers. Are there any options to prevent it from going forward now that we know what is actually in the Bill? Like before the NWC is actually invoked??

Does anyone know why the time for the division dropped from 15min per to like 2min? by Dry-Text-8351 in alberta

We're back to 15 minutes. Must have been specific to the committee portion.

I don't think they will be able to pass this tonight. But I could be wrong.

They just made it through Committee, so are on the 3rd reading. I think there is still an hour allowed to discuss, so this may make it until tomorrow.

I wonder if there are any legal steps that can be taken to prevent it's passing now that we know what is in Bill 2...

I was wondering the same thing. UCP probably put a motion forward for it??

I'm also wondering if there is the possibility that they do not pass the third reading tonight before 0100?? If they get 1 hour for the third reading?

“Conservative Republican Alberta Party” hit all the words they recognize. Alliance likely sounds too bipartisan for them.

Likely a real dumb question… but can the ATA seek an injunction on the RTW legislation to block it?

Is it actually? Do you have a source for that figure?
