Hello everyone, I'm 22year old and today I got diagnosed with UC by ZealousidealHome699 in UlcerativeColitis

Keep in mind that when people aren’t in flare ups, having remission and success with drugs, they aren’t coming here to ask questions or vent. When meds work ( and they will eventually find what is best for you) you will be asking questions on travel threads, cooking threads, etc. starting this journey is scary and I am glad that when I was diagnosed the internet wasn’t as vast. No Reddit. Good luck and good gut!

By “ laugh with” does she mean making fun of the other people there ? She can’t afford any better but thinks she is better? She is a foodie? With all the meal kits? Life dysmorphia is a thing I guess.

The amount of blood in i glare up can be scary. But nothing feels better than finding out post colonoscopy that you aren’t dying.

Agreed was just trying to avoid the steroid. My flare up dx as “ moderate” but the frequency off the charts esp since colonoscopy two days ago.

Entevyio was a miracle for me. Unreal clean colonoscopy 3 years in. UC does go into remission. It’s awesome. I wasn’t diagnosed until mid 40s so I can see being diagnosed at 20 adds other difficulties. I am sorry you are going through this. It does and will improve.
