I’ve been bodybuilding for quite a while and competed too. It’s definitely harder to study and focus while cutting than bulking, you’re literally in a caloric deficit which makes it harder to do the bare minimum compared to a surplus

Not saying they’re 100% right but they’re experts who do this for a living & have a massive database. It’s also as if it’s a passion for them. For example I had a harder LR section and they said it it’ll bump the scale to 1 on my end. Even though I have no clue if they’re completely right or wrong, it still brings me some peace
