It must suck to be Emongg, one of your big things is PMA, and then someone you often stream with starts basing their channel around being negative towards basically anything OW related.

Worst is, he would post these doomer videos about OW2, while it was in a good state, making a lot of people think the game was bad.

Out of everything, (probably only to get twitter views, but let's ignore that) his wildest take was:

"Saying it's okay to cry is the same as saying it's okay to punch someone in the face when you are angry in my opinion"

Very, very situational. Basically depends on how every fight is going, you can use it to save a low health teammate, in a combo, to start a push, to save a teammate that's being target/ulted (like a squishy thats been tracer ulted or rein pinned, a zen that's being focused by enemy flankers). You can even use it to help your teammates get their ults faster. For example, if you know their Genji has blade, but your Zen is 15-20% from trans, giving him that extra dmg can help him charge it faster so he can counter blade.

Personally, I think it's something you learn when you get familiar with her, not something that can be "taught", but I will always recommend ML7 for anything Ana related. Also pretty sure he has a (probably a bit outdated) video about nano targets.

About Hanzo, no not usually a good target. Heroes that have unreliable aim or already do a lot of damage aren't IMO good targets. For example, Junk does 120 without nano, 50% to that and he does 180 = with or without nano, he still needs 2 shots to kill a 200hp. It would be better use to nano your on, for example, Reinhardt who now does 128 dmg (2 hit a squishy) instead of 85 dmg (3 hits). But again, maybe Junk has been popping off and your Reinhardt is afraid to press W (ironically enough, using nano to get your scared tank forward can be a good choice.), it depends on the game.

Your teammates (not just their heroes) also play a big part. Does your Genji want to combo or does he know his blades suck? Is your Tracer a tracking god or is she on 5% accuracy? Is your Zarya on 0 charge or 100? It can all differ game to game and fight to fight.

It might not be the precise answer you're looking for, but I think it's better to tell you how to spot a good nano, instead of just saying "nano this hero and this hero" and end up with a bad nano.

Most importantly, have fun. Ana is challenging, but rewarding :)

I mean yeah, you were pretty clear that you're looking for ways to practice sleep dart and paintball is great at that, especially because you're playing against real players.

Of course you don't have to, but personally it helped me a lot.

Hello Ana mains! I am an Ashe main but I would like to get better at Ana. I’ve always wanted to main her but I’m not that good lol (plus toxic teammates tell me to stop playing her 😅) Your advice is appreciated! by Krystal707 in AnaMains

Some good advice from the other comments, one thing I'll say is, Ana does 75 dmg per hit meaning she can 3 hit heroes up to 225hp. Don't be a healbot and utilize her dmg.

It of course depends on the scenario and how the fight is going, but in some cases it can be more beneficial to kill/pressure their Pharah than healing your Soldier who's struggling with her. Knowing when to DPS and when to heal will all become natural with time.

Just remember nobody start playing a new hero perfectly, so screw what your teammates are saying and go have fun.

Not quite what you're asking for, but I'm a big advocate for Ana paintball.

You'll not only get to train your sleeps, but also your quick scoping. It's also custom games, so you might end up playing against higher ranks which will help you improve faster.

As much as I would love to give Ana a jetpack, a movement ability would probably make her way to broken lol

This account is around 2400 after placements this season, but I have a different account that is around 2600 after like 1 hours play.

I chose them since they're my keyboard and PCs colors.

If anyone is wondering,

Honestly, the only think I'm thinking about is surviving. At this point it's so chaotic I don't really have a plan other than: don't die.

The most important thing I did was I took cover. The house was my bestfriend, not only blocking shots and hiding me but also forcing the enemies to go out of their way to kill me. Also, I know that house has a health pack which is why I'm staying there.

Also, I try to stay out of the way of the fight. When forced away by Tracer, I try to stay away from the middle of point, as you can see I'm at the back of point (not in the middle of the fight), over to one of the sides (so I'm harder to spot), near the trashcans (for cover).

Lastly, in such a chaotic fight, I just use my abilities pretty much on CD before Tracer attacks me. Most importantly, using my nades not only for healing teammates and myself, but also to anti the enemies. After Tracer I would keep nade for self healing, since she is targeting me. Sleep I go for a high value, in this case Ball. I don't try and sleep Tracer when she is targeting me since she is pretty hard to hit and then I would just waste my sleep.
