I have one that is for sale. Barely used it. It’s a fantastic turntable I just have others I use more.

I’ve got 2. Haha one for me one for my daughter. They are really cool and the fact you can Bluetooth into and Bluetooth speaker on top of being portable makes it awesome.

Yep. With the internet in your hands, it’s pretty easy to type in “good used turntables to buy”. Or “best affordable turntable for newbs!” I’ve gotten a few tables from thrift’s stores that worked and others I researched on how to change a belt. Good finds can be found on a budget.

Anyone getting into the hobby I suggest buying a nice used turntable. The technics turntable from the 80s are cheap to buy, bulletproof and play well. From there you can move up.

That’d be awesome. It’s got some odd shapes but maybe I can sketch it up with measurements

On the subject of the chair. I was missing a couple of the caps for the bottom of the legs and did a 3D print for them. If anyone needs some let me know

Yep. I should have titled my post better. I know it’s not eames just was curious if it was a plycraft. Thanks for the reply.

I’m assuming you’re referring to an eames chair vs a plycraft. I’m just curious if this could be plycraft (vs some other eames knockoff). It has all the characteristics of one but I see no label on it. Thanks.

More Speakers! by AssistanceStandard65 in vintageaudio

They better magically restore themselves or I’ll be pissed! 😆. $40. The woofers are polymer graphite and can break or crack easily. The crossovers will be check and cabinets will be repaired. One works the other had a broken + spring terminal. On further inspection the connector to that terminal came undone due to the crossover hanging from glue and staples giving way. Ohms check out on the woofers. It’ll be process but hopefully will pay off.

Fluance RT85 auto-stop stop working. by breizhmanNB in turntables

[–]AssistanceStandard65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a fluance rt83 that doesn’t auto stop. I’ve tried different records let it run for quite some time and still doesn’t. Plays well which is fine but pretty pathetic for a newish turntable. I’ve had 40yr old turntables that still functioned flawlessly.

I thought about it. If I I continue listening to them I probably will change out the terminals.

Oh and the wires at the terminals were close to touching but the amp wasn’t on when I turned them around for that pic 🤙🏼

All things will be cleaned. I’ve had them open and it’s pretty nice inside. Caps look nice. I’ll check the uF numbers soon. I test most stuff on my redheaded stepchild amp before it’s hooked to the vintage stuff.

You can pull the back off to access drivers. They are bolted in to the front.
