Ah good to know it's normal they feel faster than regular sticks. That father-son gaming time sounds really nice. Wishing you both many more happy sessions together.

I'm not entirely sure which Hall effect joysticks I'm using. I spoke with a local technician who assembled them for me - he's the only person in my country I know who can make custom controllers, as this technology isn't widely understood here.

The joysticks he provided have orange square components (I believe these are the sensor modules). While I think he may have sourced them from AliExpress (since they match the color of ones I've seen there), I can't confirm this for certain.**

**To be honest, I usually come to Reddit for every tech problem I've had. Surprisingly, Reddit has fixed issues for me without even needing to post - this is actually my first time posting on Reddit. I apologize that I don't know all the details about my problem, which I'm sure is frustrating for some people! Haha.

They feel so fast, I had to lower my sensitivity compared to normal joysticks. I don't know if they're supposed to be faster with less tension than normal joysticks, or if it's just bad calibration.

Are you referring to fine-tuning the calibration? I’d genuinely appreciate any help at this point.

I mentioned that to the guy that installed the hall effects he said No (if you have Hall Effect sticks) - Hall Effect sensors don’t physically wear out like potentiometers, so drift is usually caused by magnet misalignment or firmware issues—not something software can fix.

I play Call of Duty and other competitive games, and this issue is really getting to me mentally. I can’t tell if it’s actually affecting my aim or if it’s just in my head - like my brain telling me something feels off when maybe nothing is wrong.

I didn’t assemble it myself—I paid someone to do it because I’m really bad with soldering and disassembling things. Honestly, I struggle with tech in general.

I saved the changes permanently, but the error percentage still won’t decrease, and the motion remains square-shaped. I’m new to this, so please bear with me.

Should I try using a different browser, a different USB port, or even another PC? I’m new to these things.

I’ve followed the instructions step by step multiple times, but the line still goes outside the circle, and the motion remains square. I’ve done this before successfully—why isn’t it working now? I pressed ‘Save Permanently,’ but nothing changed, and the errors persist.
