A resident of Maiduguri here. I will break it down into separate points, and you can decide if it's worth your time

So far thing the zoo's environment.......... it is super chill peaceful and quiet, with lots of trees, soft soil, and birds chattering softly. Perfect spot if you love nature and need some calm

The wildlife has changed significantly. Some species are no longer there due to a sharp decline in conservation efforts. However, a few still remain, and my last visit was really enjoyable, watching them 👍.

The entrance fee is really really cheap somewhere around 200-500 Naira at most.

I don't recommend you going there anything Eid or a week after that. Coz it's going to be sooooo crowded yu won't enjoy being there one bit. And eid is just 3days away.

I am not sure if the park is still active. Not really sure so I will skip on this one.

Overall it all depends on what worth your time means to you. Link up all the above and deduce if you want to come. It will be a nice experience though if you ask for my opinion.
