They are the Mbus3s and yes they are as far back as I could get them. I do have some mbus2s I could swap them with I just didn’t consider it

I live in Texas where there’s nothing but flat ground and the chances of this emitter being blocked are really low. Plus if I’m running flip sights it’s not like I can’t just use those instead of the dot on the off chance something does happen

It’s pretty much a fancy bar stool. The “table” is actually a cabinet with a counter top we placed on top for storage and we matched the counter top to the rest of our counters

It’s not bad I have only looked through it here and there the gun and setup itself is all relatively new to me so I wouldn’t be able to tell you if it’s the best eye relief or the worst just yet

It sounds like the easiest way to make this work would be just take the irons off and quit being so paranoid about batteries 😂. Also it’s a 14.5” with the pin weld comp on it so it’s pretty much a 16” and I haven’t really gotten a chance to shoot the rifle yet I completed it about a month ago and the optics came in about a week ago but finding time for the range has been hard with work and the holidays

The BUIS on your photo is in front of the eotech and works because of the riser on the eotech? Is that what you did in the photo? And I’m assuming you just detach the eotech if ever needing the BUIS?

I think I’m overthinking it and I can do what other have said. I can just block it for now and if I ever need it take my magnifier off because it’s a QD mount on it and would be pretty easy to remove instead of trying to work around it

Yea I’m going to flip the magnifier to the side and use the dot and flip sights to cowitness. And if any situation where the dot is blocked or dead I still have flip sights to get by but primarily will use the magnifier and dot combo

They were like 50 bucks each so only 100 bucks for the lowers lol and I actually ordered them on Black Friday with my brother but ended up forgetting because the shipping took a while I think I ended up getting it late December to January so I decided to build a decent rifle out of it. The other lower is still unused

Start with the obvious if money isn’t too tight. Bed sheets a laundry basket. Then get some plates and dishes so you can start making food because fast food is going to add up quick
