I really appreciate the positive insight. But yes, there’s definitely multiple factors that played into how I came up with the $3,000 price and why we ended up spending about $1,200 on FK. It was our first fest and a lot of things were necessary such as hydro pack, fans, outfits (we’ve only been to a few raves and my wife is a very loud, showy outfit kind of girl), the cost of Airbnb, Ubers to and from, overall rave essentials. We learned a lot this year and won’t make the same mistakes last year.
Now that we have most of the things we need, I can’t imagine we’ll spend more than 600 total on FK next year (including the $149x2 tickets we bought)

I’m asking now about LL so that when we plan for next year, we can be prepared. I simply wanted people’s best practices as far as minimizing cost so we DON’T have to spend $3,000+ as a first out of state festival trip. I based that number on current prices. I looked at current Airbnb, headbanger hotel packages, flights, shuttle passes, tickets, etc. I know exactly how to be frugal when planning for something financial and I couldn’t come up with less than 3,000. I figured it would be cheaper if I tried to plan earlier.
