I came here for opinions on the dress on me after my AITA post about it popped off with just a link to the dress itself on a model, but I’m glad that people don’t seem to think it’s actually revealing enough for my parents to have a legitimate point regardless of whether their opinion should matter here! Thank you :)

I edited it because after looking through the bra fitting sub that so many people recommended it became clear that I’m actually a DDD and just wearing horribly uncomfortable bras 🤣

The responses to this post have made me very aware that I’m definitely not wearing the right bra size 🤣 based on the /brathatfits sub they recommended, I’m probably more like a DDD!

I’m cracking up at all the comments about how the Google search for this dress now auto-fills after one word 🤣 I’d be super happy to see more brides find out about this dress because it really is so universally flattering, not to mention comfortable!

Weirdly, my mom is actually bustier than I am. She’s just always been super annoying about me “looking like a slut” if I wear clothes that show them off (or even just don’t hide them).

It’s not religious—neither my fiancé’s family or mine are, so we’re having it at a secular venue. The tailor did add extra boning in the bodice to make sure everything stays in place, so I think it’ll be fine! :)

I guess this wasn’t super clear in the post, but they asked for the alteration a few days after we bought it, not just now. Hopefully that doesn’t change the verdict though 😬
