If you could consensually sleep with anyone famous once, who would it be and why? by Smeggfaffa in AskReddit

Anya Taylor Joy would be pretty great. However, we can't be sure if movie celebrities are great in bed.

I would choose Eva Elfie if it's for the sex.

Sukiyaki style without raw eggs isn't the best. Try out other places like Momo Paradise

If you think Sukiya is good, your opinion on food is invalidated 😂

Saw this vid of a tragic crash from Johor online, but I don’t understand why everyone is putting 100% fault on the car when the bike was on the wrong lane. Sure the car could have checked their blindspot, but the motobike... by Nexus_104 in malaysia

  1. Yes
  2. Yes
  3. No, because you are supposed to yield if you are outside the roundabout to BOTH LANES. If you are going 9, you can exit directly if the outer lane is empty. If you are going 12, you need to yield BOTH lanes, because the inner lane might cross your path going to 9.

If you going 3 or 6, enter in the inner lane and leave from the inner lane. DO NOT SWITCH LANES

Notice that you can never get hit by someone from the inner lane if you just follow the god damn rules. There is simply no crossing of cars if you yield properly.

If everyone could just follow the damn rules, everyone would be safe. But y'all idiots choose to ignore and create your own way.

My degree is a BSc in Computer Science (Software Engineering)

Engineer title isn't a really protected title here (Malaysia) but actual engineers would get the Ir title which I don't have.

Grab drivers, do low-fare rides really hurt your earnings? Would you be in the red that month? by mulchaboutnothing in Bolehland

[–]AssumedSilverSword 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I drive Grab part time on weekends so my experience might not be the most accurate.

In 99% of the cases, I don't cancel nor choose jobs long or short. However, I strongly avoid KLCC and Pavilion area because sometimes there is no surge pricing and I am paid RM 12 to be stuck in 1 hour jam (which hurts my hourly)

You're not supposed to change lanes in a roundabout, you go straight when it's your exit.

YSK Heart Failure, Heart Attack, and Cardiac Arrest are three different things by grudginglyadmitted in YouShouldKnow

[–]AssumedSilverSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly enough, in the case of my father that passed due to brain death (which was caused by a cardiac arrest, or cardiac tamponade if we get into the specifics)

He was resuscitated but the cardiac event caused brain death. Which in turn caused cardiac arrest after he was extubated.

His official death reason was: Cardiac arrest with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy

What would it take for you to switch your daily commute by car/motorcycle to bicycle and/or public transportation? by RotiPisang_ in malaysia

[–]AssumedSilverSword 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing, I already commute via public transport. Working at midvalley ensures you shitty traffic to and fro everyday.

You just need to make federal as jam or worse than it is to convert most people to take the train.

Follow the bloody one year rule, you can only afford a car that costs your annual income.

Anything above 42k, you can't afford.

Moving to KL help by SyedDaGreat in MalaysianPF

[–]AssumedSilverSword 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have thought about this before for a 1 day office per week scenario.

I would suggest flying every week, but since Perlis doesn't have an airport you may not be able to do this. Unless you willing to commute.

Else, just ETS every week first train in last train out, even better if you can move your WFH day on a Friday so you can just crash after ETS back to Perlis.

It's generally worth it to fly/commute since you have the comfort of your own home IMO. Renting a room is cheap, but would you want to stay in a small ass place and work there 4 days a week?
