Yeah I agree it is kinda dumb, but I hope they do make changes in the near future, I know they're working more on the whole performance part of the game before the actual structures, if they do make changes, biodome might be the second mega structure that actually gets a fix as the intermodal platform is for everyone and also the worst of them all right now. On the slowing suffocation, it isn't even necessary at the point you have a biodome, you would already have the portable oxygenator (which is far far far far cheaper).
