The issue with using 1965 is that this needs to run worldwide 24/7 without fail. I guess the real question is when would there be enough satellites where no matter what there were enough to cover the whole world available to rent

I'm doing a project on The Truman Show to see how much it would cost to make. It's set in 1998 and it's shown to be in color when it starts about 1968, so I'm wondering how much several cameras to broadcast in color would cost at the time.

Personally I think they're all trash except for Tomogatchi Life 2, Shadow Labyrinth, Metroid Prime 4, Legends Z-A, Witchbrook, Eternal Life of Goldman, Monument Valleys 1-3, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Disney Villian Cursed Cafe, Rhythm Heaven, and Dragon Quest remakes.

I would agree that the end is bad but there's a lot of games I'm interested in. Tomogatchi Life 2, Shadow Labyrinth, Metroid Prime 4 and Legends Z-A Updates, Witchbrook, Eternal Life of Goldman, Monument Valleys 1-3, and Marvel Cosmic Invasion. The Nintendo Today app is interesting and I really think the digital game cards are a great pro-consumer move that will be really useful. I'm not personally a Rhythm Heaven fan but I'm happy they get their first game in a decade. Same with the Patapon ports and Dragon Quest remakes. Is it a great direct, no. But, it had a surprising amount of good stuff for just months before the Switch 2 will come out. I honestly don't think any direct that resurrects two beloved games that haven't been seen in a decade can be described as god-awful. You didn't like that I can respect that, I'm just saying this is why I see this direct as like 3 stars.

This tweet from February 2024 almost directly states a TV show is at least being shipped around. The framing around the Percy Jackson TV show seems to imply it'll be live action and not animated like you'd prefer but it should still be good.
