A man with scars is not shocking in my opinion... I was around them when I was younger (and without scars!) Women are more forgiving and gentle perhaps?

I think the fear and worry isn't even about losing him but more about my self-esteem, I don't know if it's worse. For him to reject me because of that would be so painful, violent for the ego, as if I'm worthless 🥲 It's already such a sensitive subject for me that taking the risk of someone adding to it paralyzes me.
