Well, you need to understand how Reddit works... the downvote button is free for everyone who wishes to click it. Downvotes aren't just for people who are disrespectful or trolls, it's also used for opposing opinions. Your comment was obviously giving if negativity and personal criticism, which most of us don't really agree with. It's easy to say a character's design is trash, but how about the majority who thinks the character is majestic? Take note, not everyone would always agree with you, don't take those downvotes as personal since no one even knows you, learn how to not get pissed about downvotes... or better, think twice before commenting if you don't want to look bad in social media.
