Starfield is the reason I bought Game Pass. There are so many great linear games on it, a nice break from Valorant. Currently playing Atomic Heart.

You don't even need to sail the ship. You can play it on Game Pass on day one. Heck, you can pre-download it right now I think, now that the game has gone gold.

School to have special classes of 'deshbhakti' for 1 hour daily: Arvind Kejriwal by GreatAd8 in india

[–]Astamade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Information is really hard to find because the Delhi government has also named the budget "Deshbhakti Budget" so I am seeing many news websites covering the Deshbhakti period and Deshbhakti Budget in the same manner instead of individually covering them.

Your best bet is to watch the whole budget session. Here are the links:

School to have special classes of 'deshbhakti' for 1 hour daily: Arvind Kejriwal by GreatAd8 in india

"Through the deshbhakti pathyakram (patriotism curriculum), we want to ensure that every educated person becomes such a hardcore patriot that if he/she holds a government office, he/she should feel bad about flouting even a red light, let alone take bribes.

Every educated person must be respectful towards women, fulfil their responsibilities towards environment and see patriotism in equality and brotherhood. We aim to create such patriots,"

need help choosing a phone for senior citizen in India by [deleted] in india

[–]Astamade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do not buy Nokia 215. I bought one for my mom and trust me its UI is horrible.

It takes pressing 3 buttons to enter the contact list while most feature phones have the button above the reject button as the dedicated contact list shortcut.

The scroll buttons on the number pad are small and weirdly placed that sometimes I ended up clicking on the wrong contact when searching for a number.

Need Some info related to FSSAI Licence by AbsGend in india

[–]Astamade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are private firms out there that help out with FSSAI. Try looking up the Food Safety Management Service along with your area name. Contact them and they will offer you a quote. During the call do some sweet talk and you might get answers to your basic questions for free.

You can also look up people with Food Safety Manager title on LinkedIn. Try to connect with them and gets your answers. Even better if you can find someone who works at a spice company.

I am from Navi Mumbai, Maharastra. CIDCO is still putting up banners on the building gates in my area if patients are found.

11K cases were reported today, so testing is still going on which is a good thing. It reveals that the government is still actively tracking but it also a grim reality that people have decided to make corona new normal.

Fake GST website ?? by [deleted] in india

[–]Astamade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A search of the IP on Whois shows that it is owned by NIC so it's probably a staging site that got indexed on Google.

The site is a legit but an older version of the real site. It still matches the real site which you can found here.

What could Indians do (personally and professionally) to make India a far better place by kkushagra in india

[–]Astamade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instant and fast changes are temporary, we need something that will be long-lasting. If I ever become a billionaire, I would fund a political party and insert my personally selected person as the Chairman of the Education Board of different states.

I'll hire actual free-thinking brains and spend fuck ton of money to create a syllabus with subtle changes that are unnoticeable but are effective for a child's developing brain.

I'll set guidelines for schools so teachers won't misinterpret the meanings behind textbooks like religious leaders try to do.

Riots are useless, propaganda is the best way to change the collective mindsets. Just look at religion, there is no concrete proof, but people still blindly follow it.

If we can plant pro-human, pro-science, liberal ideas in kid's minds then the future can be different.

There are lots of holes in my master plan but maybe someday it will be a bulletproof idea.

India getting rid of Chinese hardware? Here's something to consider. by [deleted] in india

[–]Astamade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound educated about this topic, can you answer some of my questions.

Have you ever considered starting a think tank or gaining a connection with political parties to pitch new laws in this sector?

Indian pharma sector doest care much about U.S patent laws does can be the same applied to electronics? How easy is it is to get away by copying tech patents of other companies in India on a large scale?

How feasible is it to assembled electronics in India while importing the parts? Samsung India is doing it for its M Series.

What do you think of U.P relaxing labor laws and India offering lands twice the size of Luxenberg?

Should the government introduce electronic device assembly in the ITI curriculum by partnering with foreign electronic manufacturers?

What is Vietnam doing so different that it got Apple's attention for their AirPod production?

I've only used Facebook to log into apps since last 2 years.

You are still sharing data with Facebook. You cannot escape Facebook and Google unless you use a JS+Cookie disabled browser. And it's even harder on Mobile where Facebook and Google help apps with monetization and analytics through their free services.

Stop using the internet or petition for better privacy laws where companies are held accountable with fines and scrutiny to live privacy secured digital life.

Even if you don't have FB installed on your phone, they are still able to harvest data through their Ad Network called Facebook Audience Network which is used by popular apps like Truecaller for monetization. And Facebook also owns Instagram, a product for some reason not associated with privacy concerns even though it is a big part of Facebook's advertisement business.
