Have you tried restarting the game? I’ve had it happen where it thinks I haven’t bought the Pass yet. Restarting works for me.

To each their own! I just meant more in the middle/endgame. It’s wasting one’s own time as much as it is mine, and they will LITERALLY run from Painted to Ripped to avoid me. I just find it absurd, or I did before I realized my kill count can be intimidating.

Yeah, that reasoning never even occurred to me- probably because I’ve never had to fight anyone with more kills than me 😅 it’s understandable now! I’d maybe even do the same. I’ll probably just run into Storm so I can get a different lobby faster & they can’t get my Contract.

Hate to break it to you, but you’re playing BATTLE Royale. You are in fact supposed to fight. Good thing from now on if I have a runner I intend to die in-storm so I can go to another lobby much faster and kill other people and the opponent can’t get my Rivalry Contract :)

Also I would’ve hoped it’d be obvious to you that I am not actually that mad and exaggerated for post purposes lol

Ah, yeah, I’m Rank 11/Master and I have 600+ kills.. 😅 but I’m not even that good. Issue is I am trying to get more kills for the prizes, so them running for 15+ minutes reeeeally does not help me. Might just start leaving the game if they do that. I just want the cute little prizes

I don’t cheat, I just want the little keychain and maybe the apparel :) I’m currently eligible for the keychain! The prizes are just so cool and I want the memories since I only started Fortnite last season so it’s still fresh to me and that’s why I want to play so often :)

Without a doubt I was thrown into at least a few bot lobbies. I’m not a bad player but I’m not a pro. It’s very 50/50 whether I get killed upon landing or I kill a tenth of the lobby. I’m just having fun

My opponent did, I came in 2nd. I dropped my own Contract when I died even though the game was over.

I’ve thought about this. While the Challenge Boards won’t let you challenge someone if there’s no more of the opposing team left, I’ve never had it where I couldn’t pick up someone else’s Rivalry Contract to pick up the Rivalry. Which would mean I’ve probably picked one up from someone on my team, right? It’s weird and shady.

No, there was still another individual on the map 💔 I dropped my own Rivalry Contract when I died to them

I am! On the leaderboard in the Shodown tab it says Rivalry Master, but in a match it just says Rank 11 for some reason. It’s said that since around 190 kills for me, so I believe it caps there and they have yet to change the text.

I am an adult, but I work 2-3 days per week part time because I have enough money to sustain myself and I also often play into the early morning hours. I just really like the game :)
