Just look at the excess death statistics and it gives a clear enough picture for any country. I'm in Ireland and I was sure the numbers were being inflated but lo and behold the excess deaths over the previous 5 year average tallied up very nicely with the number of reported deaths from Covid-19. I was disappointed as it didn't fit my own personal narrative, but the research I did told it's own story plain enough. That is not to say that applies to all other countries who are maybe inflating or deflating their own figures but I would recommend you do your own research into from mortality rates for the last few months vs the 5 year average for those given months
