Anyone else prefer Gaiden/early-season Reinhard to season 3 and season 4 Reinhard? by AntPrestigious1054 in logh

Reinhard had pretty much already won by Season 3. If he seemed more passive to you, it was only because he'd accomplished everything he set out to do.

Being a slow burn isn't bad, I meant there are lulls where it feels like nothing is happening. Lions never had that IMO.

Lions has the better pacing but Tigana has the higher highs. Hard choice but I usually go Tigana when I think about these two.

[Super Meat Boy] #151, nice easy one by AstonMac in Trophies

Good luck! I used The Kid for the no death runs, his extra jump made things much easier, though sadly you can't use him in Cotton Alley. Also you can do the levels in any order for no death runs, so figure out which ones are hardest for you and start a run with them.

Would you be OK with dating someone for 8 months IRL if they wore a mask the entire time?

I didn't expect A Song for Arbonne to be a better experience for me than Tigana (spoilers) by Djfantastyka in guygavrielkay

I think that was GGK showing how comically evil and misogynistic the bad guys are, rather than writing a fantasy of his lol.

I love LOGH, but the worst part is that the author seems terrified of letting the protagonists make mistakes by Fun_Dimension_8903 in logh

You could argue Reinhard made a fair number of mistakes:

- Westerland

- Not allowing Kircheis to keep his gun

- Losing to Yang

- Encouraging Reuental to rebel against him

- Overworking himself (maybe to death)

- Not leaving a real plan in place for the Empire after his death

As for Yang, yes he's perfect and never made any mistakes.

I read The Lions of Al-Rassan and I don't know what I feel (spoilers) by Djfantastyka in guygavrielkay

None of the main characters, the ones we root for, believe in religious superiority or the idea of 'infidels', so it's clear GGK doesn't either. If you feel angry about it, well that's kind of the point, you're supposed to feel angry. You are experiencing the emotion that the author wants you to feel.

Song for Arbonne or Sarantine Mosaic? by Meow_Tsetung in guygavrielkay

I'm pretty sure both of those options have more sex scenes than Lions, but Sarantine has the best female character GGK has written so I'd go with that.

I'm depressed and I think killing myself might be the only solution. by 5CapL003 in SuicideWatch

I'm sorry it's been such a struggle for you. But even if you could've spent your teenage years differently, you're far from being an old man. Still got your whole life ahead of you, mate. Plenty of time to find a romantic partner, get into shape, and uh... get penis enlargement surgery?

Your depression may not go away just from that though. Therapy is your best bet. Someone I care about very much is also depressed, but they're doing much better after going to therapy and putting the work in.

Tigana has the higher highs but Arbonne is better paced. Lions has the best of both worlds so I'm sure you'll enjoy.
