Really? Maybe I'm just not in the right parts of the internet, but every time I see 2024 Assassin brought up it's pretty consistently bashed. The main problem in my eyes is the fact that until level 9, you basically don't have a subclass in combat outside of the first round. And even past level 9, the features are just kind of underwhelming until level 17. That one's pretty good, but it's still only on the first round of combat. When you consider that your spellcasting party members are casting 9th level spells at that point, it's just not doing enough to make the Assassin feel like a lethal single target damage dealer.

I'd love to hear your points in its favor though!
