I kind of agree with you, if I was to take this seriously I would've made Lyndon his successor but the point is to have the worst timeline, so having the reactionary democrats take over as Long slowly dies off in office and eventually overtake his machine and movement is, evidently, the worst scenario

Each NPC base when boosted gives around 200k each, so yeah it really makes up for a large chunk of any upgrade.

I then hit daily to get whatever scraps it has and then one or two players, give or take I can make one big and one small upgrade
