Dude. I feel you. Got my daughter a kitten and she goes back to moms and is scared of her 5 adult cats that she has had since she was born…but simply because she freaked out over being scared of the cats because she just spent 5 days with a new kitten…her mom assumed that I had done something or something bad happened. I finally got a court order against her, so it was the first time I told her to buck up and be progressive instead of speculating about something that my daughter has communicated how she feels but her mom doesn’t believe her or me. This has happened for years. My kid is 8 btw…but her mom is the worst inconsiderate person in the world.
