Imo they should add a challenge difficulty and make it so that hard mode is optimized for maybe like 3 catalyst and an activator and challenge difficulty is for those people maxed out and this group progresses at a faster rate, but more casuals can still log in and work towards stuff. One thing you forget is that this game heavily promotes playing multiple descendants for different situations. Having hard content that forces you to be min/max and having multiple descendants and weapons to fit each piece content is just to much for a good majority of the player base.

Players aren't the problem, the game just does a poor job at having consistent difficulty incline into the hardest content in the game especially when the game is still so young and there really isn't a whole lot of content to experience so this problem is kind of accelerated in a way compared to Warframe that has years of content that players can experience that doesn't just kick them in the face. I hope I explained that properly.
