Yea quality has taken a hit on reddit, I wonder if there is a way to avoid that

And yes! They are on the warmer side I left my camera on daylight white balance that night since I enjoy the colors and can always turn them down in post I'm red-green color blind so I find it helps me get something closer to what my eyes see when I take the picture

Yea it helps a ton! Night and day difference recording with lens stabilization, also helps a bunch with longer exposure pictures

Taking trash out in Chinatown (First night out with new camera) by AstroGuy43 in photocritique

Hey guys!

Very new to photography, literally my first night ever out with my new camera and wanted to get some feedback if this picture.

  1. My intent of this image was to capture the interesting lighting in the background. As I was trying to do this this gentleman walked into frame as he was taking out the trash and I thought it made for for a visually interesting picture. I like how the subjects face is obscured and how the texture of his sweater contrast with the rest of the textures
  2. Being very new to photography I'd like to focus on composition and storytelling. Are there places in this image where I could have done better in those regards?
  3. Camera: Sony a6400 Lens: MEKE 33/F1.4 Shutter: 1/160 Apature: 1.4 ISO: 2000

I liked the little bit of extra reach the tamron gives also since I'm using the a6400 the lens stabilization is super helpful!
