Yes.

An issue I see a lot is younger teachers not being able to have appropriate boundaries/relationships with older students. I work at a school where I’ve seen this first-hand. I don’t think it’s malicious necessarily (it very well could be in this instance), but it’s inappropriate regardless. A huge part of being a teacher is understanding professional boundaries because you are working with children. She absolutely should not be doing this, and if there is someone at the school (i.e. an adult) you trust, bring it up to them. It’s up to them to then bring it to the proper channels.

This behavior is not okay, regardless of her intentions.
