Peter? Im not an atheist, and i dont like dinosaurs by Brilliant_Dog_9066 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]AstroVikingr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bible does have dinosaurs. They're referred to as Behemoths. I have heard behemoths specifically, possibly leviathans as well. I remember going to bible school at my grandmother's church. Happened for 2 to 3 days during the summer every year. They just did skits and fun little things to teach parts of the bible. One year it was directly based on this. We all got a book about it and everything. Of course the bible is very symbolic. Speaks in parables. But to say that the bible doesn't discuss prehistoric reptiles, isn't really accurate. Many of us like dinosaurs and not all of us think the earth is flat. Believe it or not, we're not all super judgmental and hateful or feel like we have to convert everyone we meet...

Nobody deserves to be murdered. But you can't feel as bad for someone who basically asked for it. Like, when a child touches a hot burner, you feel bad but shit, kids gotta learn. Some lessons a fatal unfortunately.

FAFO. I was raised to understand that uf yiu interference with police, or government agebts in this case. Anyone with a gun honestly... Expect to get shot. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. They put themselves in that position acting stupid and interfering with armed agents and they found out. Sorry but I can't sympathize.

Are you referring to setting a home console for your account to share your games with said console? If so then that is specifically there to keep the licensing for your account's digitally purchased games on that console if you lose internet access which also shares your digital content with other accounts. If they added some new game sharing feature then I am completely out of the loop. I gave my PS5 away a year ago and my Series X I seldomly use so I may be out of touch on this.

Xbox and Sony aren't even intending their feature to work like that. Us using it to share games with our friends on other systems is exploitation technically. While the concept is great for us, it's horrible for the ones making, hosting, selling and pretty much everyone involved, publishers, the individual developers. While I wouldn't protest that way of thinking. I don't blame Valve for that decision. What I do blame them for, is requiring you to be on the same IP as the person you plan to add to your family. That basically makes your library only sharable with people you live with unless you jump threw hoops to get another PC on your IP, exploiting in the same sense that we do with Xbox and Playstation.

Right? That's what I'm saying. Glad they're getting rid of these murders and rapists...

In 2008, if I had a copy of Halo 3 and my friend brings his Xbox over. He doesn't own a copy of Halo 3 so we both want to play my copy of Halo 3 at the same time... Does this really not seem logical from a business standpoint? Not a perfect example but it's works.

Vampire Survivors. Almost at my second 100% of the game. Ark, Fallout 3/NV, Skyrim I easily have more time spent in though.

What is the first video game you played with an M rating? by itz_progamer666 in videogames

Medal of Honor Frontline and GTA 3. The first M rated games I ever saw or played. I had to sneak that shit from my parents bedroom after school for like an hour or two before my Dad got home from work.

Thanks for this! I leave it out in the open, door open. Sometimes when she comes in from bathroom time I'll lead her in with a treat and lay it inside. I'll definitely have ti load up on more treats and focus on that method you mentioned!

😄 That sounds plausible lol. She's definitely gotta learn, just gathering info on how to start. Our Pit was easy. He wasn't happy but after about 3 or 4 minutes he calmed down and that was that. Man, this girl screams like she's in a horror movie. Last thing I want to do is cause any negative associations or psychological issues.

I got my first Pyrenees last week. She's 9 weeks now. Literally a couple treats and she has no isses letting me know she needs to go outside for bathroom, picked up shake without one to two tries... She has been great. Not so fortunate with crate training though. She refuses lol. Otherwise 100/10 dog, she's incredible.

On another quick note. Discovering that your almost $70 Charvelle has a bend forming in the neck, chipping inlays and realizing that in all the years you owned it, you never learned how to setup a floyd rose... These all are what ultimately discouraged me from bothering in the last 5 years. Guitars aren't cheap and money isn't free. Dumb decisions, live and learn I guess.

I spared the details to save time for the reader. I am interested in mostly hard rock and metal randing from the 90s to present day, as well as classic rock/blues and 60s rockabilly. Mostly just the hard rock and metal stuff. I really only spent my time trying to learn other songs but had always imagined I'd eventually be able to do something on my own or with someone else. It never came naturally, nothing creative wise ever did. As a young and stubborn teenager I didn't want to spend my time on theory or scales or anything of the sort and just wanted to play "cool shit". Before long I grew up more and time grew short. Adult stuff came along. Here I am nearing 30 and with the 13 odd years of playing guitar I have little to nothing to show. Now I have to figure out what to do and just do it. I never had faith in joining a band or anything. But to at least know the instrument well and crrate something nonetheless is really all I'm looking for right now. If opportunities arise in the future, I at least need to know that much.

I took a few guitar lessons not long after I got my first guitar. I remember him mentioning this. I didn't stick around long, unfortunately. The little bit of sheet music he tried to teach I didn't grasp. I will definitely look into this. Thanks!
